History of Post-it® Notes

In 1980, the original Canary Yellow Post-it® note was created by two 3M scientists, Dr. Spencer Silver and Art Fry. This sticky note invention was a small square of paper with an adhesive on the back of each piece. This adhesive allowed for removing the Post-it® and sticking it somewhere else without leaving any residue.
