Stationery Studio Helps Raise Funds for Little Girl who Stole Miranda Lambert’s Heart

Buffalo Grove, IL September 18, 2014 - In a video that has gone viral, you see a little girl handing country superstar Miranda Lambert a note and flower. Miranda Lambert stops singing and tears up as she’s touched by meeting 7-year-old Brooke Hester. Brooke is no ordinary little girl. She has neuroblastoma. Since 2012, The Stationery Studio and designer brand idesign + co have been working together to help raise funds for Brooke’s cause, Brooke’s Blossoms N Buddies.

idesign + co created 29 original notepads including original artwork from 7-year-old Brooke Hester, the name and face behind Brooke’s Blossoms N Buddies. $5 from the purchase of each notepad is donated directly to Brooke’s Blossom N Buddies in an effort to raise money and awareness for Pediatric Cancers. About Brooke’s Blossoms

Brooke Hester was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma cancer in 2010 at three years old. Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid cancer in childhood. When in the hospital, Brooke noticed other kids in the hospital that were sad and wanted to help cheer them up. Brooke and her mother, Jessica, decided to make headbands for other kids going through chemotherapy to help them cope with their hair loss. Brooke’s Blossoms was born.

Their sole mission is to encourage and empower others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer by raising public awareness of childhood cancer through education initiatives; and to raise money primarily for early detection research, newer treatments and cutting edge, targeted therapies and cures for pediatric cancer that will be gentler and more tolerable through all stages: discovery, diagnosis, treatment, and remission. Brooke’s Blossoms is a 501(c)(3).
