December 22, 2015 - Buffalo Grove, IL – The Stationery Studio (www.thestationerystudio.com) is giving back this holiday season hosting a coat drive for Chicago kids and helping their local food bank. The coat drive was held for Chicago students at Jacqueline B. Vaughn Occupational High School. The Stationery Studio donated money to the Vernon Township Food Pantry (http://www.vernontownship.com/Vernon_Township) to help those in need in their community.
“Hosting the coat drive and helping our local food pantry helps those who live where we live and work,” said Marc Redman, President and owner of The Stationery Studio. Almost 200 coats were handed out to Chicago students. "The Vaughn Community is very appreciative for the kindness and generosity of The Stationery Studio,” said Noel McNally, Principal of Vaughn. “They have been a much needed partner this holiday season. The students, parents, and teacher are grateful for their service."
The Vernon Township Food Pantry said the money donated helps to provide for over 140 families who are in need. William Peterson, Vernon Township Supervisor, was there to accept the donation from The Stationery Studio owners Marc and Renee Redman. “We truly appreciate this monetary donation,” said Peterson. “We were able to help all the families in the area this year.” The Stationery Studio, LLC is the industry’s leader in premier online personalized stationery and carries over 22,000 unique products.
